Education and Counselling Initiative

Education and Counselling Services: Empowering Our Community

At Ikire Mercy Clinic Foundation (IMCF), we believe that education and counselling are essential components of healthcare. Our Education and Counselling Services initiative aims to empower our community with knowledge, skills, and support to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.

Objectives
  • Educate our community on various health topics and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Support and guide young people in our community to reach their full potential
  • Empower parents and caregivers with effective parenting strategies and support

General Health Lecture (Bi-annual)

Our General Health Lecture is a bi-annual event that brings together healthcare experts to educate our community on various health topics. These lectures cover a range of subjects, including disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and management of chronic conditions. Our goal is to equip our community with the knowledge they need to take charge of their health.

Youth Mentoring Workshop (Bi-annual)

Our Youth Mentoring Workshop is also a bi-annual program designed to support and guide young people in our community. These workshops provide a safe and supportive environment where young people can discuss their challenges, aspirations, and concerns. Our experienced mentors offer guidance on topics such as academic success, career development, sex education and personal growth.

Parenting Counseling Symposium (Bi-annual)

Our Parenting Counseling Symposium is a bi-annual event that provides a platform for parents and caregivers to share their experiences, challenges, and concerns. Our expert counselors offer guidance on effective parenting strategies, child development, and relationship building. This symposium aims to support parents in their role and empower them to raise happy, healthy, and well-adjusted children.
