In the heart of Ikireland, a vision was born. A vision to bring hope, healing, and mercy to ALL, regardless of circumstance. And so, Ikire Mercy Clinic Foundation was established, driven by a passion to serve and a commitment to care.
A Journey of Faith and Perseverance
Our journey began on February 25th, 2019, and we commenced clinical operations on January 2nd, 2020. Through the generosity of 140 Medallion members and 5 Corporate Bodies, we have been able to provide vital healthcare services to those in need. We are forever grateful for their support and pray that God continues to bless them abundantly.
MILESTONES: Celebrating Our Journey of Hope and Healing
By the grace of God, we are steadily moving forward, driven by our passion to serve the people of Ikire. The hospital is a testament to the power of community and compassion. We are proud to have served over 52,550 people of Ikire, with a dedicated team of 32 staff members and 7 Board Members who have selflessly served our community for the past four years.
We provide both Primary and Secondary Healthcare services, catering to outpatient and inpatient needs, including surgical cases. Our surgical procedures include Herniorrhaphy, Caesarian Section, Appendectomy, Incision and Drainage, Remover of Foreign body, and Prostatectomy, among others.
We have recorded over 152 surgical procedures with no casualties, and 73 of these were provided free of charge, thanks to the generosity and expertise of Prof. Peter Olaitan, Dr. Sekinat Oyebamiji, Dr. Ibrahim Awowole, and their team members.
Our hospital staff has grown from 9 in 2020 to 32 today, with qualified staff across all key departments, including Medical Officers, Finance/Admin, Accounting, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Services, and more. We are proud of our team's dedication and commitment to our community's healthcare.

Mr. Oyedele is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in accounting and management. As the Head of Administration, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the hospital's administrative functions. A chartered accountant with a BSc from Nigeria and an MSc from Britain, Mr. Oyedele brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. His extensive experience in accounting and management has equipped him with the skills to lead the administrative team effectively.
